Casting Off Online Join Casting Off the Cold's Online community! If you live too far away or can't get to our meetings but would like to contribute with us to these worthy causes, join us online. Each month we feature one of our causes and collect donations specific to their needs from our online knitters and crocheters. We'll let you know in advance which items are most necessary and will deliver all donations to the organization on your behalf. Contact sally@castingoffthecold.ca for information and the mailing address. Check our blog for updates and photos of some of the donated items. Feel free to send us a photo of yourself with a project and we'll post a personal Thank You! Happy Crafting!
This Month's Featured Need: Baby and children's blankets in all sizes from preemie to young children Please see our Size Guide and Patterns page for sizing details for all blankets. Many of the organizations we support help pregnant women and young mothers with small children. There is always a need for blankets, no matter the time of year. Project Linus is another of the causes we support as they provide blankets to local hospitals in our area. As always, we will appreciate your help in crafting these items and will show off your donations on the blog. Please note: If you are dropping items off at one of our partners, please make sure the package is clearly marked 'For Casting Off the Cold'. Thank you!
